Fathimath Afiya is from the Maldives, the beautiful tourist destination in the Indian Ocean.

Fathimath has worked in the private and public sector for over 30 years.

Trainer: Fathimath Afiya's great passion is building the capacity of communities. She is a trainer on Gender, Disability, Child Rights, Community Development, Human Rights, Leadership, Communication skills, Management and Public Speaking. She has taught/trained in informal and formal settings.

Researcher: Conducting research & analytical reports, Strategic Action Plans, Business Plans and Proposals for NGOs, private and corporate sector.

Fathimath Afiya has experience working in the multi-country projects and has worked on projects that takes her around Asia, South East Asia and UK.
